Some of her past speaking appearances include the Aspen Ideas Festival, Solutions Summit 2014-Women in Science Writing at MIT, Huffines Discussion 2014 at Texas A&M’s Huffines Institute for Sports Medicine and Human Performance, the 2014 Dialogue for Action: Right-Sizing Cancer Screening, Town Hall on Replication and Cumulative Science at Stanford University, 2017 World Conference of Science Journalists in San Francisco, Sound Food Uprising Summit on the “good food movement,” the American Statistical Association symposium on statistical inference, the University of Utah’s Research Reproducibility 2016, the National Academies of Science meeting on Replicability and Reproducibility in Science and TEDx Paonia. She’s spoken multiple times at journalism conferences such as the National Association of Science Writers and Association of Health Care Journalists annual meeting, and she’s given Ignite talks in Arizona and Colorado.
